As a professional photographer, I had the opportunity to test the Sigma fp camera at the famous Hollywood Bowl. Throughout the day, I thoroughly tested this compact full-frame digital camera in various lighting conditions to gauge its performance.
The Sigma fp packs a powerful 24.6 megapixel resolution and an ISO range of 100-25600. Additionally, the camera boasts a maximum shutter speed of 1/8000 and 4K UHD video recording capabilities. The 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder with 0.91x magnification provided impressive clarity.
When I first received the Sigma fp, I was struck by its lightweight design, which made it incredibly easy to transport while on location. Furthermore, the camera’s sturdy weather-sealed body gave me peace of mind when working in rain or dusty environments.
Putting the autofocus to the test under various lighting conditions, I found it to be impressively fast and accurate, even in lower light settings. The image stabilization function also worked well by reducing potential image blur. Testing various lenses, such as wide-angle, telephoto and macro, I found them to provide sharp and accurate results. Access to a variety of filters and shooting modes added to its creative capabilities.
I was impressed with the overall performance of the Sigma fp. It’s an ideal camera for professional photographers who desire excellent image quality, fast autofocus, and efficient lens and filter options in a sleek and portable design.

While I wasn’t testing the camera, I explored the Hollywood Bowl’s historic music-venue and marveled at its beauty. The bowl has hosted numerous legendary musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, and even The Beatles. It is also well-known for outdoor concerts and movie screenings.
To sum it up, I thoroughly enjoyed testing the Sigma fp at the Hollywood Bowl. Its sturdy design and easy-to-use features, paired with multidimensional lenses and filters, provides exceptional results and make it an excellent option for professional photographers.
