Upgrade your home security with the August Smart Lock in dark gray, third-generation technology designed for use with iOS 9.0 or higher and Android 5.0 or above smartphones. The lock attaches to your existing deadbolt on the inside of your door without replacing your keys, with easy installation that takes under 10 minutes using only a screwdriver.

You can easily grant access to unlimited or limited people, such as your family, friends, or dog walker, for weeks, hours, or minutes. Only August includes Door Sense, a sensor that notifies you if your door is securely closed or left open.

The smart lock unlocks automatically when you arrive, letting you avoid fumbling for your keys, shopping bags, or kids when entering your home. The Auto Lock feature can be timed to lock the door as it closes and requires 110 to 240 volts.

If you want remote access or Alexa integrations, you can add the August Wi-Fi Connect Bridge (sold separately). For a secure key-code entry to your lock, you can add the August Smart Keypad (sold separately).
