As a professional photographer, I had the opportunity to try out the Leica SL2 camera at the Getty Research Institute, and I must say, I was blown away. The Leica SL2 is a small, lightweight camera that packs a powerful 47.3 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, a 4K video recording feature, and a fast and accurate autofocus system. The camera is armed with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display that makes it easy to modify settings and review photos.
What caught my attention was the camera’s exceptional image quality. The colors were vibrant, the details were sharp, and I could snap impressive images even in low light; this was possible due to the lightning-fast & accurate autofocus system.
The battery life is something to marvel at, with up to 500 shots on a single charge. The dual SD card slots made it easy to transfer, store, and backup all my photos with ease.
The Leica SL2 is a versatile camera, making it an ideal choice for professional photographers. It is lightweight and gives access to great image quality, impressive battery life, fast and accurate autofocus, and 4K video recording capabilities. Though priced on the higher side, it is worth every penny.
