The Waveshare 7inch DSI LCD is a capacitive touch display which comes with a DSI interface and a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. This IPS screen with a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz is specifically designed for Raspberry Pi 4B/3B+/3A+ and Compute Module 4 (CM4)/Compute Module 3+ (CM3+). However, an additional adapter board is required for CM3+/4. The capacitive touch panel of this LCD is made of toughened glass and has a 6H hardness rating. It supports Raspbian with 5-points touch, and a driver is required when it works with Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi OS (Raspbian) driver is provided when used with Raspberry Pi. The brightness of the display is adjustable with software.
