The SwitchBot Curtain Smart Electric Motor has been upgraded to make it even more compatible with your home. The motor can be controlled using the iOS or Android app or by giving the curtains a little tug for Touch & Go control. You can even control the curtains remotely through the app, which can help prevent theft when you’re away from home. The built-in light sensor allows you to set timers to close the curtains at night or open them in the morning to help you get better sleep and wake up naturally to sunlight. The motor is small in size but can push up to 8 kg (17 pounds) of curtain and can be charged using the SwitchBot Solar Panel (sold separately).

Installing the motor is simple and it doesn’t require screws, nuts, or bolts. The SwitchBot Curtain Rod 2.0 is designed to make your curtains slide more smoothly than ever, but it should be noted that it doesn’t support square rods. With the SwitchBot Hub Mini or Hub 2 (sold separately), the Smart Curtain can be compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, IFTTT, and Apple Homekit.
