The Linksys Business Series WAP4400N Wireless-N Access Point is perfect for businesses that require high-bandwidth applications, such as video and storage. The Wireless-N (draft 802.11n) uses the latest wireless networking technology, while the Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology allows for a higher effective data rate by using multiple radio signals. Using the Linksys Wireless-N Access Point, you can add wireless devices, including Wireless-N (802.11n), Wireless-G (802.11g), or Wireless-B (802.11b) devices to your wired network with ease, without any cabling hassle. Its Power over Ethernet (PoE) support makes installation a breeze, enabling mounting of the Access Point anywhere, even without a readily available power plug. With the appropriate PoE support at the other end, you only have to run a single cable to deliver both power and data to the Access Point. It features Linux operating systems and is compatible with 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter with TCP/IP protocol installed in each PC and a switch/router with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support or PoE Injector for use with PoE& Web-Based Configuration Java-Enabled Web browsers.
