Product Specifications:
LESOWN presents the P79-T model, a 7.9inch TFT-LCD display with IPS technology. It has a resolution of 400×1280 and features a touch function. The monitor also offers a dot pitch of 0.1485(H) x 0.1485(V), and the signal interface is MIPI. The viewing direction is free, and the view angle is 170 degrees for a full view. It has a size ratio of 5:16, a response time of 40ms (Tr+Tf), a contrast ratio of 900:1, and a brightness of 500cd/m². The outline dimension measures 78.8(W)x217.6(H)x16.5(T)mm, and the active area is 59.40(W)x190.08(H)mm. The color gamut is 70% NTSC, and display colors are 16.7M. It uses WLED backlight with 19.2V (Type.), and the connector is 30 pins ZIF. The thickness is 16.5(mm), and the display input is HDMI 1.4. It does not feature an audio out.

Connecting to a computer:
Simply connect one end of the included HDMI cable to the computer and the other to the monitor. If the monitor does not have a touch function, the USB cable only provides power for the monitor, so connecting it to a computer or USB adapter (current ≥ 0.3A) suffices. However, if the monitor has a touch function, the USB cable must be connected directly to the USB interface with data transmission function of the Windows system host. At this point, the USB cable transmits power and touch signals.

Important note:
For best results, connect the HDMI cable directly to the native HDMI port of the computer. Not all docking stations support 400×1280 resolution output due to the screen’s exceptional resolution.

Connecting to Raspberry Pi:
When used on Raspberry Pi, modifying the “config.txt” is necessary. Add the following code to the config.txt file: max_usb_current=1, hdmi_group=2, hdmi_mode=87, hdmi_timings=400 0 100 10 140 1280 10 20 20 2 0 0 0 60 0 43000000 3. If it is Raspberry Pi 4, you also need to comment out dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-V3D.
