How to Switch from Windows 11 S Mode to Regular Windows 11
1. Open the Settings app on your PC running Windows 11 S mode.
2. Go to Update & Security > Activation.
3. In the “Switch to Windows 11 Home or Switch to Windows 11 Pro” section, choose “Go to the Store.” (Note: Be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link in the “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section if you also see it.)
4. On the “Switch out of S mode” (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select “Get.” After a confirmation message appears, you’ll be able to install apps from sources other than the Microsoft Store.
